Trapped in a glass case of emotion, all eyes fixed firmly upon her as the mounting anxiety of being completely out of control spins, well, completely out of control, Diana, Princess of Wales, finds refuge above a toilet and in the fading memories of a lonely, though ultimately free, childhood. Framed wide to showcase the absurd opulence of what she stands to inevitably lose, Diana is nonetheless trapped in a world that reduces her to a beautiful nuisance to be hidden away and forgotten if only it weren't for her popularity with the commoners. Escape is on the horizon here, but, unfortunately, we the viewers know how this tragic tale will ultimately end.
I watch to make sure that others do not see.
